J.P. Gebbie was born and raised in New England, but has been a happy transplant to the Midwest for many years. She has a degree in History from Georgetown University, and degrees in education and leadership from American and Oakland universities. A full-time educator, she loves spending her free time with her family, traveling, hiking and kayaking. Jennifer is passionate about reading, writing and the arts. Also of interest: climate change, recycling, the wealth gap and issues around poverty; there are simply not enough hours in the day! She lives in Michigan with her husband and a rotating nest of their adult children. My Year of Dating Crazy is her first novel. Jennifer is currently working on a memoir titled Piano, Horse, Drum: One Family’s Journey with Autism about their experiences with their son, Ian. The tentative publication date for Piano, Horse, Drum, is December, 2022.
